Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2026. This is a plain-English summary of how OffCycle handles data.
Who we are
OffCycle is a job-discovery tool for finance students and graduates, operated by its founder. Contact: amcampinos@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account data (if you sign up): your email, and anything you add to your profile (name, university, graduation year, target roles, CV, saved jobs). Stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase.
- Usage analytics: anonymous events such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, and an anonymous device/session identifier, so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. No third-party trackers are used for this.
- Referral source: if you arrive from a link tagged with a campaign parameter, we record which channel sent you (e.g. "linkedin"), to measure our own outreach.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage for essential functions (keeping you signed in, remembering your theme and an anonymous analytics id). If we later show ads, our ad partner (e.g. Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve and measure ads; you'll be able to manage these via your browser and, where required, a consent prompt.
Advertising
The free tier may show advertising to support the service. Premium accounts are always ad-free. Where ads are served by Google AdSense, Google may use cookies to personalise ads; see Google's advertising policies.
How we use data
To run your account, power recommendations and alerts, understand and improve the product, and (for Premium) process payments via Stripe. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You can edit your profile any time, and request deletion of your account and associated data (including your CV) by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your stored data.
Third parties
- Supabase, accounts, database, file storage.
- Netlify, website hosting.
- Stripe, payment processing for Premium (we never see your full card details).
- Google AdSense, advertising on the free tier (if/when enabled).
